A study was conducted to demonstrate some of the significant aspects of the theory of block element. The theory of block structures allowed scientists to construct a new method for the investigation and solution of edge problems. It was demonstrated that the method was similar to the finite element method. It was also observed that the block element method was free of the main disadvantage of the finite element method. The method had a number of carriers that had the potential to be convex regions in the case of exponential factorization and multiply connected regions in the case of the generalized factorization. The block elements were constructed by a definite algorithm of the same type for the sets of differential equations in partial derivatives of any finite order. These derivatives were represented in the form of the integral over the boundary of the carrier region.
