摘要
Evidence for natal philopatry in the prairie vole, Microtus ochrogaster in a low-food, tallgrass prairie habitat in east-central Illinois was obtained from multiple-capture, live-trapping data. Of 26 offspring born into 17 social groups, 24 (92.3%) remained with the original social groups as adults. These results provide evidence for natal philopatry in the prairie vole in a low-food habitat.
