Influence of Bonding Agent on Properties of the Slag Wall with Corundum-Spinel

摘要
Using bauxite aggregate, brown fused alumina, fused white corundum, spinel, microfine SiO2, and microfine alpha-Al2O3 as the main materials, adding dispersant and steel fibre, the slag wall with corundum-spirel was prepared. The effect of rho-Al2O3 and rho-Al2O3-alumo-calcium cement as binder on performance of the slag wall with corundum and spinal were studied. The results show that in terms of slag wall of rho-Al2O3 as binder, when the amount of rho-Al2O3 is 3%, the performance of samples is excellent, the main phase of samples is corundum phase, magnesium aluminate spinel phase and gehlenite phase. In terms of slag wall of rho-Al2O3-alumo-calcium cement as binder, the various conventional performance of samples is excellent with cement addition. By XRD analysis, when the amount of cement is 1.5%, CA(6) gradually appears which is high temperature phase, and improves the high temperature performance. At the same time, the addition of cement does not increase the gehlenite phase. The erosion mechanism of the samples with a better erosion-resistance of the two combination system were analyzed by SEM. When the amount of cement is 1.5%, it shows the best slag erosion resistance and permeability.
