摘要
The German Medical Association (Joint Association of the State Chambers of Physicians in Germany) approved new (model) specialty training regulations for physicians in 2018. The training regulations for the field of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine have been co-developed by a working group of both the German Society of Physical and Rehabilitation Medicine (DGPRM) and the Professional Association of PRM Physicians (BVPRM). Main focuses of the reform were the strenghtening of acute care and social medicine competencies among PRM specialty candidates. Competency based learning goals were the conceptual rationale. Other parts of the reform were the regulations for additional training curricula in Physical Therapy, Medical Balneology and Climatology, as well as Rehabilitation Medicine. Legally binding specialty regulations will be approved by each of the German State Chambers of Physicians.
