摘要
Perinatally acquired human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) infection can be prevented through education and, for women with HIV and their babies, administration of chemoprophylaxis during the perinatal period. When perinatally acquired HIV infection occurs, early intervention can promote the quality and duration of the Infant's life. This report updates and consolidates current recommendations related to the prevention of perinatally acquired HIV infection, as well as recommendations for the management of perinatally exposed and infected infants through the first year of life.
