摘要
Objective: To see moderating influence of socio-demographic factors in the bidirectional relationship between Geriatric Depression and Executive Dysfunctioning. Methodology: Adults older than 55 years from community of Rawalpindi and Islamabad were included in the study. Socio-demographic sheet, Geriatric Depression Scale short form and Encephal App Stroop Test were used for data collection. Results: By comparing two models for each socio-demographic variable, moderating role of marital status and employment status explained more variance by the predictor of geriatric depression in significant positive increase in executive dysfunctioning. Moderating role of gender, formal education and family system explained more variance by the predictor of executive dysfunctioning in significant positive increase in geriatric depression.
