摘要
In a retaining wall with excavation, active earth pressure and passive earth pressure co-exist There have been few suitable models concerning the collapse analysis of retaining structure including complex earth pressure conditions. In this study we attempted to clarify the rotating failure of a retaining structure with excavation by the finite element analysis with the implicit-explicit dynamic relaxation method By comparing the results of model experiments with those of the finite element analysis, we evaluated the applicability of the finite element analysis for rotating failure of the retaining structure. Tie displacement calculated by the finite element analysis agreed well with those of model experiments. We also showed the maximum shear strain and earth pressure distribution.
