A new species of the fossil dustywing germs Apoglaesoconis (Coniopterygidae: Aleuropteryginae) is described and figured in Late Cretaceous (Turonian) amber from New Jersey. Apoglaesoconis cherylae, new species, is differentiated from other species of the genus by a unique combination of venational traits. The Lower Cretaceous (Neocomian) species Glaesoconis fadiacra Whalley from Lebanon is reassessed and is transferred to a new genus, Libanoconis.
