Development of modern lecture materials for the subject of Product Lifecycle and Service Management

摘要
In this article the new study module named "Product Lifecycle and Service Management" for the Master's program "International Industrial Engineering" at the Hochschule Dusseldorf is presented. This study module includes 6 ECTS points. It is a learning concept consisting of a lecture and related exercises. Furthermore, group tasks are performed and presentations are conducted. Contents are given to the subject Product Lifecycle and Service Management which are described briefly below. Moreover, the course is held in English language. Thus, technically and linguistically, the students communicate (or interact) on a professional level. Due to the contents of the holistic consideration of life cycle management and related services, students are prepared for future challenges in the company. Companies can take advantage of the already mediated knowledge and soft skills as well as the professional voice application. Accordingly, companies can employ graduates in specific positions.
