摘要
As one of the crucial elements of microwave (MW) atomic clocks, Ramsey MW cavities are crucial for assisting MW-atom interactions. A dual-mode Ramsey cavity for a dual Rb/Cs atomic clock with simultaneous resonances at 6.83 and 9.19 GHz is presented here. The reported cavity, with its high mechanical strength and stability, can excite clock transitions in Rb and Cs atoms in the same zones, thereby providing a compact physical package for a dual Rb/Cs clock. Since both atoms are in the same MW-atom interaction environment, this measurement platform allows for high-accuracy comparisons.
