We investigated the vortex dynamics of a superconducting square micro-plate with a single square vacuum hole in the presence of non-symmetric external current by solving the time dependent Ginzburg-Landau theory. Applying the external current in an equilibrium state, we obtained the time dependence of vortex states. We found that reversal of the external current direction does not cause simple opposite motion of vortices. Non-equilibrium vortex states of the first kind superconductor could be seen for a short time. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
