摘要
Precipitation of alpha(2) (Ti3Al) and beta phases in the form of platelet or spherical particle in the alpha matrix of Ti-6Al-4V was observed after hydrogenation/dehydrogenation treatment at 600 degrees C. The crystallographic orientation relationship of alpha and a2 was determined to be < 1210 >(alpha)parallel to < 1210 >(alpha 2) and {0001}(alpha)parallel to{0001}(alpha 2). The nanoscale beta phase precipitated in the alpha matrix was also observed, with their orientation relationships being {0001}(alpha)parallel to{110}(beta) and < 1120 >(alpha)parallel to < 111 >(beta). The formation of alpha(2) and beta phases can be attributed to the disproportionation effect. (c) 2006 Acta Materialia Inc. Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
