摘要:
Basslink HVDC Interconnector, world's longest submarine HVDC cable project, links Tasmania with the Australian mainline to provide efficient two-way power transfers. The Basslink transmission system has a continuous rating of 500MW defined at the DC side of the ractifier station with the AC system parameters, voltages and frequencies, within their normal range and at maximum ambient temperatures. The rated transmission power will be met without any redundant cooling equipment in service at the specified maximum ambient dry bulb temperatures of 30° C at George Town and 40° C at Loy Yang. Basslink, with a total length of 295km, is the longest submarine cable HVDC project in the world, its cables have been laid in three campaigns. The system consists of an HVDC cable, an LVDC cable (metallic return) and fiber-optic cable. The submarine portion of the high voltage conductor is built as a 1500mm2 mass impregnated cable and land sections are 2000mm2.
