摘要：

Is there a psychiatry concerning the period of adolescence during the XIXth century ? To answering such a question we have considered: the consistence of the category of adolescence: the medical ideas concerning adolescence: the field of psychiatric practices concerning adolescence: the progressive construction of descriptive clinics and psychopathologies concerning adolescence. The author shows how, moving away by steps from medical models related to puberty, the clinical knowledge on adolescence built during XlXth century gains first specificity up to hebephrenia (1871), evolving afterwards to words non specificity.
