摘要
The scattering behaviors of xenon and argon molecules reflected at a platinum surface are studied by the molecular dynamics (MD) method for the gas-surface interaction. Distributions of molecular velocities after reflection are obtained for the impinging molecules with specified velocities within a small range. The scattering distribution is compared favorably to a scattering kernel proposed in a previous study [Phys. Fluids,19 (2007)]. The Couette flow is analyzed by applying the scattering kernel and the results are compared with the MD simulation for the interaction.
