Improvement of Directional Properties of Individual Radiators and Antenna Arrays by Dielectric Guiding Structures

摘要
The paper considers the results simulation of the directional properties of printed antennas with dielectric structures located in the nearest zone of the radiators. The influence of the shape of the dielectric structures on the coefficient of directional of the antennas are shown. Examples for single radiators and gratings based on them are considered. Presented results were obtained using the method of moments in FEKO medium for a disk patch antenna with different dielectric structures in the range of 2.45 GHz. The received results can be used in systems of telecommunications and technical vision.
