摘要
A walnut is the nut of any tree of the genus Juglans, Juglans regia. Nuts in the Juglans or walnut genus that (delete) can be grown in Albania. Enough research has been conducted for grafting with bud in the past but the percentage of take have been low and application in public and private nurseries is not possible to be realised. Whip grafting for nut is not an applicable technicallly en masse. Studies for this grafting technology for walnuts are scarce in our country. This experimental study was conducted at the 'Olive Research Institute' (Peze, Tirana). The research will have great impact on the improvement of labour and profitability of nursery trees! 200 offshoots are performed on four treatments applied: (i) control (whip grafting without tied and paraffin); (ii) whip grafting with paraffin, and (iii) whip grafting with tied and paraffin. Treatments have a relatively strong correlation when using paraffin and plast film (r = 0.888), while grafting without paraffin and plastfilm (r = 0.233). It was found that the graft with tied and paraffin have given the highest percentage of forming (85%). When graft has been performed untied but with paraffin, have had poor callus formation (36%). While the graft are not tied and are not wax, callus formation have been at zero. Through application of tied and paraffin of graft, percentage of production was 85%.
