摘要
Three SETI (Search for Extra-Terrestrial Intelligence) activities at Kyushu Tokai University are reported. 1. A direction of Beta Gem was monitored totally 75 minutes from December 16 to 20, 1999 using Kiso and Fuji sites of Solar-Terrestrial Environment Laboratory simultaneously at 327 MHz. There is no radio burst received over 0.4 Jy. 2. Radio intensities of 57 regions towards M-type and IR excess stars, and META regions were observed and monitored from March 1 to 5, 2005 using 10 m antenna of Mizusawa Observatory of National Astronomical Observatory, Japan at 8.4 GHz. Data is under reduction. The META regions were observed simultaneously with 2 m optical telescope "Nayuta" of Nishi-Harima Astronomical Observatory. During simultaneous observations, 4 small fluctuations were recorded in radio, however no events were recognized in the optical data. 3. A new type of radio signal from extra-terrestrial intelligence is suggested. UWB (Ultra-Wide Band) radio signal is generally advantageous on the standpoint of signal to noise ratio. One possible signal of this kind is that its frequency is shifted in time over its bandwidth with a period of averaged pulsar periods. Observations in the experimental stage were done in March 2005.
