2-Chloro-3,3-diphenyl-1-(2,4,6-tri-tert-butylphenyl)-1,3-diphosphapropene was allowed to react with an equivalent amount of tetrakis(triphenylphosphine)palladium(0) and a novel binuclear palladium(II) complex which includes two P2O-tridentate ligands [Mes*P(O)CH2PPh2](2)[PdCl](2) (Mes* = 2,4,6-tBu(3)C(6)H(2)) was isolated after workup procedure. A tricyclic skeleton of the binuclear complex was characterized by the X-ray crystallography.
