摘要
The objective of the study was increased efficacy and reduced expenditures of arterial hypertension treatment. Objectives comprise demonstration of the efficiency of introduction of arterial hypertension treatment guidelines, cost effectiveness of the process, as well as an evaluation of guidelines in targeting blood pressure levels. There is a number of Evidence Based Guidelines available in the medical world. However, only some of those are widely used. 20 GPs compare treatment of 888 patients with arterial hypertension divided to two groups - newly diagnosed and historical patients. The data suggest that GPs who follow the guidelines are more likely to obtain the desirable blood pressure, have lower costs of treatment and treat more hypertensive patients nonpharmacologicaly.
