摘要
A new scheme for simultaneous measurement of temperature and strain using fiber Bragg grating (FBG) and a thermochromic material is presented. It consists of a dual system with two different sensing elements included in the same fiber: a fiber Bragg grating to measure the strain and a thermochromic effect based optical fiber sensor to measure the temperature variations and to compensate the cross sensitivity of the fiber Bragg grating with temperature.
