摘要
Passive acoustic thermotomography is a method for measuring 2-D and 3-D temperature distributions deep inside biological objects using measurements of the objects own thermal acoustic radiation. Acoustic radiation, coming from deep within a body, is measured at 20 points on the surface and for every point the acoustic radiation is measured at a different angle to the surface. The key step in the method is to solve the inverse problem, i.e. to reconstruct the temperature from these measurements. To achieve this step it is especially important to measure the maximum temperature value. A number of methods for solving the inverse problem are proposed, including a "standard source" method. Within these methods the minimization of the residual of measured and computed values of acoustic-brightness temperature is carried out. The possibility is presented for the highly accurate reconstruction of temperature distributions with one and two peaks, including peaks situated at big depths.
