OVI intrinsic absorption in NGC 3783: FUSE observations

摘要：
High-resolution FUSE spectroscopy of NCG 3783 reveals four intrinsic absorption systems, three of which have been detected previously. The new component has an absorption velocity of -1029 km s(-1), bracketed by the velocities of the other absorbers. 0 vi column densities for the four systems range from 1.7-6.0 x 10(15) cm(-2) with covering factors from similar to 0.5 to unity.
