摘要
China's social work program started in the 1920s, but was cancelled after the founding of the People's Republic of China; it was reconstructed in 1987, and entered a very rapid development era from 2000: its development course was a history of higher education of colleges and universities. The social work education can reflect the characteristics such as 'professionalization promotes professional development' and 'the powerful governmental impetus': many achievements have been made in the number of colleges and universities offering the education, the quantity and quality of trained talents; but there are also problems in many aspects. In order to promote the sustainable development of the social work and the coordinated development of social work education and professionalization in China, it is necessary to adopt the related development strategies and to pertinently settle down the problems in the social work education.
