摘要
This letter re-examines the problem of detecting the Zadoff-Chu sequence in the context of the Long Term Evolution system. The realistic scenario where the received preamble is subject to unknown multipath and carrier frequency offset (CFO) is considered. The impacts of the multipath and CFO on the correlation result are analyzed. Based on the analysis, a generalized likelihood ratio test detector exploiting collectively the multipath energy and the leaked energy due to the presence of the CFO is proposed. Simulations show the developed detector significantly outperforms the conventional peak detector.
