摘要：
This paper provides an overview of the subsea portion of the Foinaven and Schiehallion developments, BP Amoco's first deepwater project in West of Shetland, The full-length paper outlines some of BP Amoco's previous subsea-development experience and challenges faced in West of Shetland. The experience demonstrates the importance of risk management and technical-integrity-assurance processes to achieve success.
