摘要
Polycrystalline Bi1-xHoxFeO3 (x = 0, 0.05, 0.1) samples are prepared by conventional solid state route. The XRD pattern shows R3c phase. The maximum electrical polarizations in the above three materials are found to be 0.067 mu C / cm(2), 0.329 mu C / cm(2) and 0.565 mu C / cm(2) respectively. Here the holmium is chosen for the reason that the leakage current can be reduced very much thereby the multiferroic property can be enhanced. Based on this experience it is decided to study the energy storage density in these ceramic materials with Ho as dopant. It is found that there is a good enhancement from 12% to 30% efficiency on energy storage density.
