摘要
Three experiments in Brahman cattle fed with different types of diets, the experiments were conducted to determine microbial nitrogen production from the rumen by using the equation of the relationship between urinary purine derivatives excretion and microbial purines absorption at small intestine which was developed in the temperate. In addition, the efficiency of microbial nitrogen production to nutrient intake on different types of diets were compared among three experiments, The results demonstrated that mathematical equation that was developed in the temperate can be used well to calculate the microbial nitrogen production, and the efficiency of microbial nitrogen production (g MN) to dry matter intake (kg DMI) increased when the N content of diet increased. However, the efficiency of microbial nitrogen production (g MN) to N intake (g N) increased when digestible DMI (kg) in cattle decreased. In conclusion, the efficiency of microbial nitrogen production (g MN) to DMI (kg DMI) depended on the quality of diet.
