摘要
We consider minimum weight optimization of sandwich beams for a given stiffness. The core consists of regular hexagonal honeycomb structure of arbitrary density. We present a simple algorithm for estimating all design parameters. Concrete examples are also given. (C) 2009 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
