摘要
This plenary paper describes some of the UK titanium activities since the last World Ti Conference in 2007. The use of Ti by UK industry continues to increase in line with world trends as does the level of research activity on Ti in UK universities. Information is also given on important changes and initiatives that have taken place amongst various government and non -government research organisations in the UK and updates are included on the commercialisation of UK Ti technologies that have been announced at previous conferences.
