First evidence of double-parton scattering in same-sign WW production at CMS

摘要：
The search for the same-sign WW production via double-parton scattering is presented, based on study of proton-proton collision data collected at root s = 13 TeV, using dimuon and electron-muon final states with the CMS experiment. First evidence for WW production via double-parton scattering, with a significance of 3.9 standard deviations, is presented. The measured inclusive cross-section is 1.41 +/- 0.28 (stat)+/- 0.28 (syst) pb.
