Behavioural genetics in the 21st century

Behavioural genetics will continue to flow into the mainstream of behavioural research as more behavioural scientists incorporate this approach in their research. Future research Rill go beyond simply asking whether and how much genetic factors influence behaviour to ask questions about development, about relations among traits, and about the interplay between nature and nurture. The identification of specific genes associated with behaviour will make it possible for behavioural scientists to ask more precise questions about how genotypes become phenotypes.
