摘要：

This paper focuses on the application of advanced soft computing methods to text content and meta-data in order to integrate and organise both structured and semi-structured information. The primary aim is to reduce the time spent in collecting information from different sources. The paper covers two aspects of the process, namely the recognition of similar information from multiple sources and the integration of hierarchical classifications from different sources.
