摘要
Performance characteristics were evaluated in a diesel engine operating on blends of ethanol and No. 2 diesel fuel or ethanol fumigation. Engine performance, energy consumption, thermal efficiency, Bosch smoke emission, combustion characteristics and noise level were compared with diesel fuel. A realistic means for use of ethanol in a unmodified diesel engine with satisfactory results can follow from this technique.
