Electrolytic ozone generation in aqueous solutions

摘要
The electrolytic ozone generation at Pt and PbO2 anodes has been studied around room temperature in several aqueous solutions; H2SO4, HClO4, H3PO4 and phosphate solutions. The ozone concentration in anode gas and the anode potential were measured. The rate of ozone generation was increased at higher temperatures at the fixed anode potential, although the rate decreased at the fixed current density. PbO2 anode can produce ozone more effectively than Pt anode even at lower anode potential.
