A Content-Based 3D Shape Retrieval System for Voxel Models

摘要
This paper introduces a content-based 3D voxel model retrieval system. The query interface of the proposed retrieval system enables users to rapidly construct a query model by voxel-based modeling. A rotation invariant 3D shape descriptor based on shape distribution is employed to measure the shape similarity between the query and the 3D models in database. Experiments demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system.
