In this paper, we aim to study the relationships among the notions of majorization, factorization and range inclusion in the context of closed densely defined operators on a Banach space. In fact, our results extend Douglas range factorization theorem for unbounded operators on a Hilbert space to the setting of unbounded operators on a Banach space. (C) 2014 Elsevier Inc.
