On the description of interaction in sequences of unequal soliton-like pulses

A theoretical analysis of the interaction in long sequences of slightly different optical solitons is proposed. We compare prediction of the recently proposed model for description of the N-soliton interaction with numerical solution of the non-linear Schrodinger equation. The good agreement obtained shows that the model discussed can be efficiently used in analysing the interaction in sequences with slightly different amplitudes.
