摘要
The effect of organizational culture on the effective operation of a firm has attracted increasing attention of construction management researchers over the years. In fact, organizational culture has been identified as one of the essential factors that affect efficiency and productivity. Previous reported studies suggested culture can be identified by several dimension; goals, interpersonal relations, problem solving, decision making, processes and policies. In this paper, the determinants of organizational culture and its relationship with effectiveness are firstly discussed. The development of organizational culture in construction organizations is then explored. Through these two reviews, a framework to describe organizational culture in construction is suggested.
