摘要
After the operation, due to wear, both wheel and rail profiles undergo changes and for reasons of traffic safety, reducing maintenance costs and last but not least of optimising wheel and rail profiles is required the knowledge of the contact area and pressure distribution. Using the NON-HERTZ computer code with the measured profiles as input data made with MiniProf instrument, for values of the wheel-set lateral shift ranging between 3 and 5 mm, according to the elastic model, both for the situation in which the wheel and rail profiles are those resulted from manufacturing technologies (unused) and for the situation in which the two profiles are used (3 phases), it has been shown that wear changes: the contact location and area, as well as the pressure distribution and its maximum value. Also it has been noted that the more severe profiles wear was, the less influence of the wheel-set lateral shift appeared.
