Meson Yield from Bombarding Light Nuclei with Alpha Particles

摘要
By means of the new Berkeley-Betatron, it was possible to produce mesons through the bombardment of light nuclei (especially carbon C) with alpha-particles at 380 MeV. In the present work, a simple method is introduced to give predictions for the particle yield expected from this collision.
