摘要
Studies related to turbulent wake of re-entry bodies or turbulence in plasma need the coupling between chemistry and turbulence to be considered. The paper presents a presumed probability density function approach. In particular, the beta pdf developed by Girimaji to model scalar mixing in turbulent flow is employed. We present results concerning the supersonic turbulent shear layer of Cheng and al. and show the first computations for turbulent wakes.
