In this interview Wang Guangy, in dialogue with Yan Shanchun, explores the most important themes of his art, highlighting in an analytical and precise manner the philosophical assumptions that have guided him in his work. Divided into three parts devoted respectively to wisdom, playfulness and the history of art, this interview allows the reader to observe the work of Wang Guangyi from a global theoretical/philosophical perspective that brings to light the similarities between the work of the artist and the intent to create a synthesis between the Eastern and Western systems of philosophical thought.
