Reliability and Continuity Indicators Estimation in System of Electrical Power Supply to the Consumer

摘要
Continuity indicators and that characterizing power quality are statistical parameters that describe, globally or locally, the state of operation of both, electrical power supply system and consumer equipment, as well as those belonging to consumers. Nowadays at the international level is not a unitary way of defining indicators, which quantify reliability of the electric power supply for consumers and to point the connection between the reliability indicators and the continuity of the electrical power supply indicators. The analysis of such indicators makes it possible to determine the quantity and quality of the necessary information and, on that basis, to adopt the measures as well as to reduce the economic consequences to a level of safety that can be accepted by the consumer and possible to be carried out by the operator of the electricity distribution. In this paper, an analysis of the reliability and continuity indicators are presented, and through the case study in a residential area, the link between the reliability of the electrical installation and the power quality through the quality of the service are established by analyzing SAIDI and SAIFI indicators. The results of case study support the factors involved in the choice of the optimal solution in such a way that the key performance indicators of the electricity network to be improved.
