Ethics of Big Data: Privacy, Security and Trust

In the next two decades, different trends in technology are expected to disrupt the industry while competitors are expected to implement the latest technological models so that they can increase their market share. Big Data has become an increasingly important matter considering the rate at which data sets are growing in contemporary technological use. Despite the rising growth in technology, data security, privacy and risk management have become much more difficult in the era of intelligent connectivity. In this paper the importance of the critical aspects of the security, privacy and trust are addressed at entry points, customer demand, landscape and attack surface. An overview of Big Data, technologies and proposed security solution steps are presented.
