摘要
The synthesis, charaterization, and evaluation of a novel (N 2S2) sulfur-ligated CoII complex [CoL S] as a catalyst was discussed. It was observed that the replacement of two nitrogen atoms with sulfur in the coordination center influences the catalytic chain transfer activity. It was found that [CoLS] is much milder as a chain transfer agent. It was shown that the decreased catalytic chain transfer activity of [CoLS] can be used to produce controlled high molecular weight macromonomer species at readily accessible and practical concentrations of Catalytic chain transfer (CCT) catalyst.
