摘要：

The article proposes a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) solution for e-learning materials semantic annotation purpose. The proposed services extend the current e-learning standards facilities of associating metadata to Learning Objects by expressing each metadata in the most appropriate metadata standard format, and also by using the suitable high-level ontologies and domain ontologies in order to annotate the concepts inside the Learning Objects.
