摘要
This paper studies the resource allocation in a femtocell network, which aims to maximize the user-perceived Quality of Experience (QoE). By introducing a QoE-based assessment model, the problem is formulated as a combinational optimization problem, which is non-concave and difficult to develop a final solution. A heuristic PRB (Physical Resource Block) allocation algorithm and an adaptive power allocation algorithm are proposed for the final solution, in which a priority mechanism is employed for the network to give a higher priority on its resources to subscribers than the public users. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithms can improve the overall perceived quality from the user's perspective in compassion with the traditional Quality of Service (QoS) oriented algorithm.
