摘要
The main objective of the EC funded project MOVEMENT is to develop a novel modular robotic system which aims at supporting the mobility of elderly citizens and persons with disabilities. The key innovation of this research project is the use of the concept of "Modular Mobility" - i.e. a mobile (robotic) platform is automatically connecting to different "application modules" on demand. This paper is giving a short description of the MOVEMENT concept and concentrates on first results of user trials.
