摘要
The fuel cell system is a multi-input multi-output, strong coupling and nonlinear system; it is difficult to be precise modeling and control. This paper addresses the development of an explicit/multi-parametric model predictive controller for the Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) fuel cell system, and the investigation of its performance. First, the mathematical model is carried out and a reduced order approximating State Space model is obtained by performing dynamic simulations of the system. Then an explicit controller is designed to optimize its operation, focusing on tracking the output voltage and stack temperature. The simulation results show that the explicit predictive control is effective for control of the PEM fuel cell system.
